While I'm stuck at work, my wife and sister in law are doing the fun stuff (pasture mowing). They just called me to say the mower blades have stopped turning on my Woods M4 (Billy Goat). PTO shaft is still spinning. They didn''t hear any noises, but say oil is coming out the top (there's a vented fill plug). Anyone know what this might mean? Is there a clutch on this model that may have overheated? I've not seen a shear pin, but they were mowing a seriously overgrown pasture, approx 2 ac. of 18"-24" grass.

Thanks. It is a two blade cutter. I left work and found the problem. Under the top shroud is a shear pin (grade 2 bolt). I replaced that, and we were up and mowing. ....
